Cead mile failte (A hundred thousand welcomes) to Dublin

The International Women’s Club of Dublin was founded in 1981 by Donna Linton and Gail Titus to welcome newcomers and their families to Ireland.

Today the Club has includes over 350 members from more than 40 countries, varying in age, interests, English language fluency, and their expected of stay in Ireland.  Whatever their situation, the Club hopes to help ease their transition into a new country, and to provide opportunities to socialise and to learn about aspects of Irish life.

The IWC Club Year runs September through June. It is organised by a voluntary committee of around a dozen people, drawn from our membership. The committee changes every year. The President (2010-2011) is Nikki Scott and has been a resident of Ireland for 3.5yrs having arrived from her native homeland of Australia.
